Assistant Teacher

Must have a minimum of 60 college credits with 6 hours in ECE. A completed AA degree is preferred.

Job Responsibilities include:

  •  Assisting the Lead teacher in planning and implementing lessons based on observations and assessments

  •  Utilizing Creative Curriculum and Project Approach.

  • Assisting the Lead teacher with classroom management

  • Completing daily tasks as assigned

  • Maintaining positive relationships with families

  • Attending staff meetings

  • Familiar with NAEYC and ExceleRate standards a plus.

  • Responsibility, respect, and a caring, positive attitude is a must.
