In 2007, our wonderful team of designers, architects, and builders saw their efforts rewarded as the beautiful, well planned, Scribbles Center For Learning facility entered the completion stage.
The building is a blend of family friendliness, security consciousness, and all around fun!
The kids will love the giant glass windows that allow sunlight to pour into each room. The room furnishings are hand-picked to be appropriate for each child’s age and development level, and each classroom has easy outside access to one of four playground areas. The playgrounds are laid out by development level and our playground equipment is different in each area to reflect each child’s current developmental needs. Over 20,000 square feet of playground space (some of it covered so that we can still play comfortably outside when it rains) is dedicated to our kids. This includes our before and after school age specific play space just outside of “The Outpost”, our before and after school room. This space also includes a patio so that the older kids can study and socialize outside as well as inside.
Add to all of this an indoor play room with giant ceilings, a director's office with views of nearly every space in the building, a library nook, and a covered front entry when you arrive, and we know families can feel good dropping off their children at Scribbles!
